In August 2024, the esVolta team took part in a 5K Match/Pledge Walking Challenge. This initiative encouraged esVolta employees to raise funds for the Long Beach Rescue Mission’s ‘Dinner on Me’ program. Since 1972, the Long Beach Rescue Mission has provided food, clothing, shelter, and spiritual support to over 250,000 individuals in the Long Beach community. The esVolta team eagerly accepted the challenge, completing a 5K run/walk along the Santa Ana River Trail and successfully raised $6,469! This generous contribution will fund hot, nourishing meals for 13 nights, benefiting 3,900 hungry men, women, and children at the Long Beach Rescue Mission. For more information about this wonderful organization, visit Long Beach Rescue Mission & Foundation. The esVolta team had the privilege of hosting United Stated Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Washington) at our Newport Beach office on Friday, May 17, 2024. During our meeting, we discussed clean energy industry challenges and opportunities, and highlighted the potential for energy storage to contribute to a cleaner and more resilient power grid across the western US. The esVolta team greatly appreciates Senator Cantwell’s genuine interest in the energy storage market and her longstanding commitment to supporting clean energy policies. We look forward to continuing to work with the Senator towards a shared sustainable energy future. This year, esVolta participated in Construction Safety Week at each of our four construction sites. We embraced this year’s theme of “Value Every Voice” by actively engaging with our EPC partners in the field and discussing safety with leadership and frontline Craftspeople who are building our projects. In addition to onsite activities, our Team created home guidance for four key topics that could impact our workforce: Emergency Preparedness, Fire Prevention and Preparedness, Electrical Safety, and Mental Health. With a week full of learning opportunities, we truly enjoyed our opportunity to thank our Partners and express our gratitude for their diligence and excellent safety performance. 🏗️🔥⚡
