A combination department providing fire/rescue services to Exeter Twp and St. Lawrence Boro in Berks County Pennsylvania
About us
Incorporated in 2008 through the merger of the former Reiffton and Stonersville Fire Companies, the Exeter Township Fire Department is a combination volunteer and paid department that serves Exeter Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Operating from two stations, the department averages approximately 1400 calls for service annually. The ETFD first-due area consists of twenty-six square miles of suburban and rural environments including rivers, fields, lakes, mountains, strip malls, dairy farms, single family homes, apartments, 4-lane highways, dirt lanes, and everything in between. The ETFD operates three engine/rescue pumpers, one rural tanker, one tower ladder, and a variety of utility, brush, all terrain, and marine units. A comprehensive staffing program ensures firefighters are on-duty around the clock.
