About us
Ethos Home Health Care and Hospice was formed in February of 2014 by Bethany Retirement Living (Fargo, ND), Eventide Senior Living Communities (Moorhead, MN) and Knute Nelson (Alexandria, MN). In 2017 Ethos expanded their offerings with the addition of Hospice services. Ethos provides personalized care and services to individuals in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Each partner organization, on its own, is widely recognized for providing innovative services to aging adults throughout a continuum of care. Additionally, and most importantly, each partner possesses similar values and is committed to achieving the highest quality of care for their organizations to successfully accomplish their nonprofit missions. Ethos is a Greek word that means, "The distinctive character, spirit, and attitudes of a people, culture". We believe this truly embodies the characteristics and fundamental beliefs on which this partnership exists. The "T" as noted in the logo, is representative of our unity as partners, Christ as the center of our mission and care. The "river" as depicted in the logo brings together the strong, formidable partnership of Bethany, Eventide, and Knute Nelson.

What does hospice care truly mean? At first glance, these life-affirming services are often dismissed as medication and pain management alone. In reality, hospice care offers holistic support to loved ones and family members during the most trying times. Through these final days, weeks, or months, we offer confidence from our experienced care team, quality through our personalized approach, and compassion during every visit. Along the way, we take the uncertainty and fear out of hospice care. “My advice for anyone who is afraid to consider hospice care would be to learn more about it. It’s a well-rounded team approach to ensure that patients and family members have everything they need, including bereavement services.” — Abby Papenfuss | Hospice Social Worker To determine if hospice care is right for you or your loved one, we encourage you to take our survey today. You can also give us a call at (701) 929-7922 for trusted answers and guidance. https://nuvi.me/7rldvt

At Ethos, our in-home physical therapy supports patients across the full spectrum of conditions, pain levels, and recovery journeys. For some, our services help improve balance to decrease the likelihood of a fall. For others, it's all about managing chronic conditions such as congestive heart failure, Parkinson’s disease, or diabetes. No matter what the case, we offer tailored support. “A focus area of mine is orthopedic conditions. So after knee, hip, or back surgeries, I help people recover and navigate the healing process, especially at home where they need the most help.” — Jamal | Ethos Physical Therapist We invite you to take our assessment at https://bit.ly/3LkLQ9h to find out if home health care is right for you or your loved one.
