Wendy Frizzell, Executive Director I became the executive director at Leadership Tyler in May 2022. After 15 years in fundraising, I ventured outside my comfort zone to try a new venture in pharmacy operations. What great lessons I learned! I have lived in Tyler for more than 25 years and love this community. My hope is to give others an experience that helps them grow into the leaders they were meant to become. Sorani Robinson, Director of Strategy and Development at Lending Avenue Sorani Robinson currently holds the position of Director of Strategy and Development at Lending Avenue, a non-profit organization committed to assisting underserved small businesses. With a background enriched by several years at Wells Fargo, Sorani brings a wealth of experience in finance to her role. In addition to her corporate experience, Sorani previously served as a leader in a non-profit residential home in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This organization had a specific focus on providing support to women facing the most challenging periods of their lives, guiding them to become resilient and responsible contributors to the community. Originally from Curaçao, a small Caribbean Island off the coast of Venezuela, she is fluent in four languages. Her undergrad is a BA of Midwifery. Sorani’s diverse linguistic abilities, paired with her unique skills and knowledge to help others grow, excel, and achieve their full potential, empower her to effectively support individuals during their moments of need.
