The Scrimmage X Morehouse 2024 What an incredible experience at Morehouse College last week! The audience was absolutely blown away by the fireside chat with Irfaan Lalani, CEO of Vibe Restaurants . Irfaan shared invaluable insights about the importance of viewing the right people as an investment, not a cost. It’s this people-first mindset that has been vital to his success and the growth of Vibe Restaurants. Our Senior Recruiter and DE&I Council Member, Samantha Goldfarb, was recently certified as an Adult Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. The goal of this skills-based training is to teach participants to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance challenges. In observance of World Mental Health Day, Samantha volunteered to share her learnings from that training with the rest of our corporate team. During her presentation, she touched on early signs and symptoms to look for in someone who is experiencing a mental health challenge, a 5-step action guide to help someone seek mental health first aid and shared ways to support self-care. She also spoke about the mental health and wellness resources our corporate associates are eligible for.
