We welcomed United Airlines to our facility to advance our partnership in developing 100% electric urban flights. United has invested US$15 million in Eve and pre-ordered up to 400 eVTOLs.   While reviewing progress and discussing the next steps in our partnership, the United team experienced flying Eve’s eVTOL in our flight simulator and toured our future production facility through virtual reality technology. Highlights from ICAO's Advanced Air Mobility Symposium (AAM 2024) ✈️🌍 The 2024 International Civil Aviation Organization Advanced Air Mobility Symposium brought together global industry leaders, academics, and government representatives in Montreal to discuss the future of air mobility. From September 9 to 12, participants engaged in conversations on the safe and sustainable development of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technologies and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The symposium featured over 40 sessions, covering topics ranging from service optimization to the evolution of legal frameworks and increased public engagement. During the panel "Welcome to the World of eVTOL Operations," our CEO Johann C. Bordais outlined the company’s vision for a new kind of air mobility, highlighting innovation and accessibility. In the session on sustainable practices, Matthew Land, Head of Public Policy and Government Relations at Eve, emphasized the importance of responsibly integrating VTOLs into urban environments. Brenden Hedblom, Head of Traffic Management Solutions at Eve, spoke about urban air traffic management innovations. As the symposium concluded, it became clear that international collaboration is key to tackling challenges related to airspace management, environmental impact, and public safety. ✈️🌍 Eve Air Mobility shares perspectives on eVTOL at the Airline Economics Juliana Rodrigues, our Head of Business Development for Europe, took part in the Advanced Air Mobility Panel at the Airline Economics in London this week. The panel, led by Marc Tembleque Vilalta (Avolon), included Nigel Leishman (LCI), Drew M. (AURA-AERO), and Marjan Schoeke (Vertical Aerospace).   The conversation covered recent industry progress and the role of leasing and financing in bringing urban air mobility closer to reality.   Juliana stated that leasing companies will play a pivotal role in the implementation of eVTOL operations, providing the financial flexibility and scalability needed to integrate this new technology into the urban space. "Eve has three leasing companies among its 30 customers, and we have been actively discussing eVTOL leasing models with them.
