  • Just a reminder to make sure you're spooky AND safe this Halloween! As the days get shorter and the weather turns wet, it's especially important to wear clothing that is visible to drivers. Walk defensively: don't step out in front of traffic until you're sure it's stopped. And when you're driving, slow down and stay alert! Happy Halloween from all of us at Evergreen! 🦇🎃👻

  • Did you know that if you're knowledgeable and confident in operating the forklift at your place of business, you can train and certify your own employees to operate it? Many websites offer forklift "certification" -- but in actuality, OSHA-approved certification can only be earned at work, on the forklift the employee will be operating for the job. At Evergreen Safety Council, we know that not everyone is going to be comfortable enough to just jump in and start teaching their employees the necessary knowledge and skills for safe forklift operation. That's why we've created a kit specifically for employers, to walk you through each step of training your staff on a forklift. And if you want one-on-one mentorship and you're in the Pacific Northwest, our master trainer can come to you and get you up to speed. Learn more:  https://lnkd.in/gQ7KFWeZ
