Drowsy driving is as risky as driving under the influence, affecting your reaction time, motor skills, and overall alertness. Each year, drowsy driving leads to an estimated 100,000 crashes across the U.S., resulting in over 71,000 injuries and tragically claiming 6,400 lives. This Drowsy Driving Prevention Week, let’s prioritize safety by prioritizing sleep. Stay alert, stay safe! #DriveAlert #DrowsyDrivingAwareness #SleepFirst

October is #NationalProtectYourHearingMonth. Did you know that "a single exposure to sudden intense noise like an explosion can damage hearing instantly? But, exposure to noise over extended durations, usually on construction sites, can lead to gradual yet permanent hearing loss." (source: NASP) The National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) states that OSHA’s permissible exposure limit (PEL) is 90 dBA for workers over an eight-hour workday. View the sound level chart to see what daily sources could be causing you hearing damage.
