The EvoRoads Project was proudly showcased as a European case study for enhancing safety in traffic management. 🚦 The project's concept and key aims were presented at the ERTICO - ITS Europe stand, and during SIS 87 "Active travel, traffic management and connected vehicles", our Coordinator, Coen Bresser, introduced this EU-funded initiative. EvoRoads Project landed in Dubai at the 30th edition of the ITS World #Congress! This international event is buzzing and our partner ERTICO - ITS Europe is hosting us on its stand in Hall 7, B13 in the Dubai World Trade Centre. Check us out via the interactive screen! Here, this afternoon, the project coordinator Coen Bresser also presented EvoRoads key information and goals, describing the living labs and selected use cases. Developed by the FAME team, the EU-CEM aims to guide the evaluation of direct and indirect socio-economic impacts on various user groups. EvoRoads project has officially kicked off! 🚀 The ERTICO - ITS Europe - coordinated EU-funded project was presented and its activities discussed over a two-day event held in Brussels. Thanks again to all Consortium members and the Project Officer Claudia Ciuca for their insights and inputs! Over 36 months, EvoRoads aims to work towards the #VisionZero EU goal by developing a comprehensive framework of innovative models, tools, and services and focusing on data-driven road safety assessments, dynamic monitoring of cyber-physical infrastructures, and proactive safety risk warnings in complex environments. Key highlights include defining safety criteria and #KPI methodologies, creating a digital #connectivity platform for infrastructure assets, and using AI-driven analytics for proactive #riskwarnings and maintenance management.
