Local students in Maricopa, Arizona, participated in an anti-drug T-shirt design contest that showcased their creativity by designing shirts that promote a drug-free lifestyle. The event, supported by organizations like Exceptional Community Hospital – Maricopa, highlighted the power of youth in raising awareness about the dangers of drug use and the importance of making healthy choices. An emergency room doctor at Exceptional Community Hospital in Maricopa, Arizona, says it was a 14-year-old girl scout’s quick actions that led to saving her little brother’s life. “I had the privilege of witnessing her bravery firsthand, and I believe her actions warrant special recognition from the Girl Scouts organization,” said Dr. Timothy Johns in a letter to InMaricopa describing how Estrella Vaca responsibly reacted in a life-threatening situation. Staff at Exceptional Community Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma, celebrated the hospital's recent opening with a ribbon cutting and reception earlier this week. Elected officials and community leaders in attendance were able to tour and learn about Ardmore's newest hospital.

Congratulations to our outstanding Exceptional Community Hospital - Ardmore team members for all the hard work and effort that went into making it a successful opening! Exceptional Healthcare now operates hospitals in Arizona, Oklahoma, and Texas. We also have additional hospitals coming soon to Arizona and New Mexico!

We love celebrating our amazing staff during Hospital Week!
