Last week several #ExecutiveCoaches from the Executive Coaches of Orange County (ECofOC) came together at the #OCWomenInBusiness Forum with SCORE Orange County - especially Martha Ryan, Anne Tammel, PCC, ACTC and David Wild - all 3 are #ExecutiveCoaches supporting #Nonprofits with #ECofOC as well as mentoring entrepreneurs through #SCOREOrangeCounty! This was a sold out event attended by over 200 women, and some men too, and it was the launch of the inaugural #OCWomeninBusinessForum - this event celebrated an annual Women Business Owners Conference event introduced a decade ago with Martha Ryan the #FoundingChair. Martha recalls that initially women business owners were not having the same opportunities to network and partner, and knew women would come together to empower and support one another. This year Anne revamped the initiative centered around #Uniting and #Empowering all women in business, focused on bringing together women from OC Chambers and Cultural Groups, supported by David Wild. Anne plans to continue this annual event in October each year, all bringing back the #WomeninBusinessBreakfasts and introducing #OCWomeninBusinessMixers - for more information on future events with #SCOREOrangeCounty for Women: https://lnkd.in/gcDR5uW9 If you are a #NonprofitLeader interested in receiving #Coaching with #ECofOC, see more information: https://lnkd.in/ggte9Ezd If you are an #ExecutiveCoach with an interest in Volunteering with #ECofOC, learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gpSwwC25

Mikaela B. shares her coaching experience: "In my time with Executive Coaches of Orange County Coach, Mary Sidhom (BCS, MBA, PMP, ACC), I have felt truly supported. I often just want her to give me the answer of what to do next, but she has helped me to learn and grow and really ask myself where I am heading and where I would like to be. Her #coaching has pushed and challenged me, but I feel so supported in my overall development. I am happy to have her caring for me as my coach. I believe the tools I have learned will help me for many years to come." #ecofoc #nonprofitleadership #nonprofitorganization

Exciting developments are unfolding for ECofOC's Executive Director Forum members! We extend special thanks to Founder & CEO, James Alva and HR Consultant, Vanessa Alva of Adelante Partners Inc. who recently addressed our ED Forum on the topics of nonprofit board and staff recruiting as well as succession planning. Their insights have been invaluable to our members, helping to enrich their leadership strategies. Our Executive Director Forum is comprised of 10 to 12 nonprofit leaders, facilitated by two experienced ECofOC coaches who are seasoned nonprofit management consultants. Don't let the Myth of the Shoestring Budget hold your nonprofit back! While funding programs is essential, investing in staff, infrastructure, and capacity building is equally vital for long-term success. Many nonprofits take pride in being ultra-lean, but here's the truth: an underfunded organization can't fully serve its community. It's time to break free from the scarcity mindset! Remember, it's okay to allocate up to 20% of revenue to fundraising, management, and administration. Wise spending pays off in the long run especially when you're investing in your staff and infrastructure. Break free from the shoestring budget myth and invest in your nonprofit's bright future! 🌟 Check out this article from our friends at Get Fully Funded - Nonprofit Fundraising Solutions https://lnkd.in/gVqg5HWM #NonprofitSuccess #InvestInYourMission #ShoestringBudgetNoMore

We love to receive heartfelt testimonials from our clients! Director of Philanthropy Operations, Yolanda Wright of Orange County United Way shares her testimonial about her journey with ECofOC Coach, May Chan. “I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude for the invaluable role executive coaches play in the professional development of individuals. My own journey has been significantly enriched by the guidance and support of my coach May Chan. May has been instrumental in helping me achieve my academic and professional goals. Her encouragement and belief in my abilities have been instrumental in my pursuit of a bachelor's degree in sociology, which was accomplished this past May. May's coaching has also been invaluable in developing my leadership skills. She has taught me the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging environment for my team, and how to inspire them to achieve their best. Under May's mentorship, I have developed a strong drive for results and a commitment to excellence. Her guidance has helped me to identify and leverage my strengths, and to overcome challenges with perseverance. As a result of her coaching, I have achieved significant professional accomplishments and increased my income through the assets I have gained. Executive coaches are a vital asset to professionals at all stages of their careers. By sharing their knowledge, experience, and insights, they can help individuals to reach their full potential. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have been coached by May, and I encourage others to seek out the guidance of executive coaches.” –Yolanda Wright

Meet ECofOC Coach, John Benner: "I have been coaching, facilitating an Executive Directors’ Forum peer learning group, and serving on nonprofit Boards for the last 20 years. I enjoy it because: 💡 It is an opportunity to apply my management and leadership experiences in a way that is hopefully helpful. 💡 I learn a lot and have built wonderful relationships. 💡 I get great insight and advice from the younger generation of leaders. 💡 Keep current on best practices, funding sources in OC, and I learn about important issues that are affecting my community. 💡 It provides an avenue for me to contribute to making our community a better place for all of our citizens". #NonprofitLeadership #Nonprofit #Coaching ⭐ Learn more about our pro bono coaching services for nonprofit leaders at www.ECofOC.org
