Not another Bonecrusher handshake, please! I don’t know what’s worse, the bonecrusher, the queen, or the dead fish! When you meet people in a professional setting for the first time, you want your handshake and introduction to show that you are confident and assertive. It sounds silly to worry about, but many growing leaders are finding their footing, moving from being more on the passive side to the assertive side. Depending upon your situation, it may simply be just smiling, making eye contact, saying hello, and then sharing your name, position/what you do at the company, & offering to be of assistance. But the handshake can go all kinds of wrong. 😁 Check out the video to learn about the 3 handshakes I mentioned above. Then don't do any of those! Which do you hate the most?

My networking plate has runneth over today! Amber Williams, MSN, RN, OCN® and I had the longest coffee chat of my coffee chat career at 2.25 hours long! Yes, you read that right! That girl is easy to talk to and full of information! She's a grief and wellness coach and is so easy to talk to! She also introduced me to this cool Zoom type program called GoBrunch. Amber, you can share more in the comments about this if you'd like to! Had another small group event this evening to top it off! Glad to be back at it after the long weekend!
