Financial wellness isn’t just a perk, it’s a necessity. At Exhale, we provide our community’s hardest workers with financial tools that help them breathe easier. This year to date, the average My Pay transaction amount is $88: enough to fill a fridge with groceries or cover expenses that can’t wait until payday. Whether it’s once a month or a few times a week, give your employees the flexibility to access their earned wages on their own terms. Life is unpredictable—their finances shouldn’t be. #EarnedWageAccess #FinancialWellness #EmployeeSupport

Another reason why modern benefits apps are rapidly accounting for a bigger piece of the employee benefits pie: faster, "do it from anywhere" onboarding. We're proud to partner with Finch to take the admin work out of user onboarding. By granting access to payroll, employers using Exhale can get set up with just a couple of clicks, allowing participating employees to get access to financial benefits right away. 🤝

ICYMI: Earned Wage Access has been in the news, and fintech leaders across the board are chiming in. Here's our take: Exhale’s My Pay Perk is an EWA product, and is fee-free for employees when sponsored by employers. With it, our goal is to provide real financial relief to those living paycheck to paycheck. When done transparently and affordably, EWA is a powerful tool to help employees take control of their finances. As the industry changes and our own products evolve, we’re committed to putting transparency and consumer safety first. As Alex Johnson writes, “EWA — the employer-sponsored and integrated type”…”unlocks data that makes bank accounts more useful. It literally puts more money in customers’ accounts, with no credit risk.” https://lnkd.in/g7PQJE7x

🚨 Industry news: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently proposed a new rule around paycheck advance products like earned wage access (EWA), with the goal of prioritizing consumer safety and making fees more transparent in this quickly evolving market. My Pay is an EWA product, and we support this proposed rule. We built Exhale because we were frustrated at the hidden fees imposed by traditional lenders and existing EWA providers. Too often, hardworking employees accept the terms of these short term loans, without realizing that they’re paying back more than they took out. We believe that financial wellness should be accessible to as many people as possible, with no hidden fees. When sponsored by employers, Exhale’s Perks (including My Pay) are completely fee-free to employees. As the industry changes (and as our own products evolve), we’re committed to putting transparency and consumer safety first. #earnedwageaccess #ewa #financialwellness
