✨A fabulous example of how a well-supported partnership benefits everyone involved. 🤝When collaboration is prioritized, both organizers and exhibitors thrive. Please continue sharing these success stories!
Question to my fellow corporate exhibitors: Do you ever feel overlooked by show organizers? Being part of The Exhibitor Advocate has provided me with a deeper appreciation for the many sides of the exhibits industry, and it’s evident that when show organizers provide support to their exhibitors, everyone wins. After attending WEFTEC last week, I must say that the WEF team gets it! They provided so many resources and engagement activities to their exhibitors that I wanted to share: > Clear communication with a dedicated Exhibitor Resource Center and monthly newsletters > Education through Exhibitor Webinars and Opt-in Text Message Series with daily tips for further success while at the show with Robyn Davis, CPTD, CEM at Exhibitor WINH > Best of Show Contest with categories in best inline/linear booth, best small, medium, and large island which was inclusive to all exhibitors > Recognition of new exhibitors with special identifying floor stickers > Sustainability Pledge so that WEF and their exhibitors could partner together to make a difference > Marketing support with custom graphics and client invitations > Access to conference sessions > Exhibitor lounge with coffee and space to work It’s inspiring to see such commitment to exhibitors’ success. I’d love to hear other exhibitors' thoughts – what additional support have you encountered at various shows? #WEFTEC24, #WEFTEC, #exhibitoradvocacy, #exhibits, #tradeshows, #eventprofs

Great question! Balancing competing priorities can be tricky, but aligning for a cohesive presence is essential for creating a meaningful and memorable customer experience. What strategies have others used successfully to ensure each division feels heard while keeping the focus on a unified presence?

What a fantastic example of collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure the success of exhibitions! 👏
Are you an exhibitor? Are you ever confused about all the in’s and out’s of managing your space on the show floor? How exactly do all the components of a trade show come together? There is so much more to exhibiting than just buying your booth space and setting up a table with some tchotchke’s to hand out. I had the honor of moderating a panel of experts at the EVENT recently held in Ottawa, ON by Meeting Professionals International. the EXHIBITOR: Marie-Chantal (MC) Thibault the SHOW PRODUCER: Shawn Shapiro and the OFFICIAL SERVICE CONTRACTOR (OSC) : Matthew Kalb, CMP, CEM-AP Together we began a conversation that focused on: 🏋️ Leveraging Your Resources: Connect with the Show Producer and the OSC early in the process to ask any questions you may have. They are there to help and want you to be successful. 📒 Understand the Exhibitor Manual: It can be a massive document. Take the time to break it down in a way that makes sense for you and your team. 📆 Respect Deadlines: Every due date serves a purpose; they are not arbitrary. 🥅 Clarify Goals: Define your objectives as an exhibitor and what a successful show looks like for you. Then, choose suppliers who will help bring your vision to life. 🏴☠️ Seek Hidden Resources: First-time exhibitors can find inspiration for activations or tone of show from past event materials. Talking to your colleagues with industry knowledge and experience can provide a lot of insights. This is just the beginning and if you want to continue the discussion, you have a few options: 1️⃣ Become a member of The Exhibitor Advocate 2️⃣ Follow The Exhibitor Voice on LinkedIn - a community for exhibitors. 3️⃣ Get involved with The Exhibitor Advocate or the Association you are already a part of. 4️⃣ Continue to ask questions and keep educating yourself through research, podcasts, white papers, or wherever you get your industry information. The world of trade shows - although it seems to remain the same - is constantly evolving. What are some of the challenges you have been faced with on the trade show floor? How are you going to continue the conversation? #exhibitoradvocacy #exhibits #tradeshows #eventprofs #tradeshowpros #educate 🎥 If you would like to watch a recording of the panel from the EVENT, contact me directly and I’ll send you the link.

Amanda is right! It's critical for Show Organizers to negotiate show services costs on behalf of their #exhibitors. Don't know how? We can help! Start with reviewing your costs compared with the industry averages on our Annual Survey of Exhibition Rates. https://lnkd.in/eEsB94-t
A blunt warning from Douglas Emslie ... While consolidation of show organizers isn't [yet] a big factor in healthcare conventions, escalating and unpredictable service costs, coupled with associations' reluctance to adopt standardized performance metrics, will continue to deter smaller, innovative companies from participating in a meaningful way ... contributing to a perilous reverse flywheel that could erode the real value of these meetings permanently. #HealthcareConventions #EventIndustryInsights
