About us
The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank) is the official export credit agency of the United States. Its mission is to help finance exports of U.S. goods and services primarily to emerging markets to help create and sustain U.S. export-related jobs. <a href="www.exim.gov">exim</a? EXIM Bank provides loan guarantees, export credit insurance and direct loans to businesses of all sizes. No transaction is too large or too small. EXIM Bank collects fees for the financing that it provides and is a self-sustaining, independent federal agency in the Executive Branch. During the past 15 years it has earned a net positive cash flow and has returned over $4 billion to the U.S. Treasury in excess of its costs of operation. On average between 85 and 90 percent of its transactions directly benefit small businesses. Its headquarters in Washington, DC and its regional offices may be reached toll-free in the U.S. by calling 1-800-565-EXIM or 202-565-EXIM.
