About us
ExodUS Summit was founded by Roshida Dowe and Stephanie Perry in 2020 in response to a growing interest among Black women in leaving the United States to live better lives abroad. ExodUS Summit hosts virtual and live events and workshops that show Black women ways to plan their ExodUS, all while fostering community. Our signature event is the annual virtual summit, where Black women speakers teach ExodUS Summit attendees specific strategies to make their own sabbatical or move-abroad plans. Since the creation of ExodUS Summit, hundreds of our members have taken a career break, moved abroad or begun living nomadically.
