🌍 Being a founder brought me to travel the world, meet incredible people, and be inspired daily by diverse visions and innovations that improve our lives. Last year in Dubai, I had the privilege to join 24SIX9, an amazing startup community where we all help each other rise, and which vision resonates deeply and sets the basis for our FounderSquare community here in New York City. At one of those events in Dubai, I met Shane Sabine, Managing Partner of Punch Capital, on a mission to find and support the best first and second generation immigrant founders. Last Thursday, we came together for another amazing FounderSquare event. It's incredible to see where we are now since our first events at Newlab in Brooklyn. This was my first time at Startup Grind in Redwood City and it was truly awesome. As founders, we're often caught up in making our visions a reality, working tirelessly day and night. But at events like this, it's incredible to find myself surrounded by so many familiar faces, all eager to help each other out on our journeys, asking nothing in return. 🚀 A founder network has transformed both the story of Exovolar and my personal journey. Just 2 days ago, I was at the first day of Startup Grind at Hero City at Draper University in San Mateo. Surrounded by all these Marvel superheroes, it reminded me of how much I love superhero stories, how they hide deep truths behind fiction and inspire us to be better every day. 🦸♂️ I find interesting the parallels between superheroes and supervillains. If you notice, there are many similarities in their backstories. Something traumatic happens in the childhood of both the hero and the villain. Both have to face it and do something about it, but while the superhero's reaction is positive, ensuring no one suffers as they did, the supervillain often makes others suffer as they did. At Exovolar, we're making the dream of flying safe and accessible, pushing towards a world where flight is not just a fantasy but a possibility for everyone. 🚀 Be a Startup Hero, be the change you want to see around you. Two days ago, I had the opportunity of being a mentor at INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub in San Francisco 🌉. I remember Years ago when during Techstars, our startup journey was catalyzed by the insights gained in our "mentor madness" week, where we engaged with over 70 mentors. That experience underscored a crucial lesson: while it's vital to absorb diverse perspectives, the true power lies in staying true to your beliefs and aligning with those who resonate deeply with your vision. At #INNOVIT, it was great to see teams like Oversonic, building more than humanoid robots, but industry-certified systems designed to work in harsh environments, relieving people from many dangerous situations. And Ars Automation, with their autonomous FlexiBowl® - The Innovative Flexible Feeding System for production lines. Both companies already well established in the market. It’s remarkable to witness such groundbreaking advancements already in action! 🤖 A special shoutout to Stefano Toxiri and Mauro Odorico from Proteso for letting me experience their cutting-edge exoskeleton technology firsthand. I just attended Venture Summit West at the incredible Computer History Museum in Mountain View. 🚀 It is truly amazing how far we've come. Imagine, what once filled entire rooms now fits in the palm of our hand. Our mobile devices pack more computational power than the old mainframes📱 Walking through decades of computer history and networking with visionaries determined to change the world is truly inspiring. From the clothes we wear to the food we eat, from staying connected with loved ones across the globe to the transportation systems we rely on daily, none of it would be possible without the monumental leaps in computing. 🚀 Just returned from Tampa, Florida, where I had the honor of speaking at the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Discovery Expo 🛡️ This was the first time I unveiled new aspects of our technology. This was an opportunity not just to speak, but to listen and learn from those on the front lines. We're onto something big, something that can change the game in non-combative evacuations, casualty extractions, and medical interventions in disaster zones, among many use cases. Our technology has the potential to bridge the gap where traditional methods fall short. Imagine a world where no one is left behind because of terrain constraints.
