In a recent report, Gartner predicted over $1 trillion will be spent on public cloud services by 2027. That’s trillion with a T. The shift in cloud is going to force an equivalent shift in security approaches and technologies. Expel’s Scott Gold was joined by Aaron Stanley from dbt Labs, Jason Waits from Inductive Automation, Ashok Mahajan from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Shashank Golla from Wiz to discuss the challenges of cloud security today (there’s some good news), how the Wiz and Expel integration help, and what they expect in the future of cloud security. In volume I of our Quarterly Threat Report, we highlighted that identity-based incidents are the top incident type we observe, quarter-over-quarter—largely the result of the increasing accessibility of phishing-as-a-service (PhaaS) platforms. 🎣 In this volume, we take a closer look at PhaaS platforms and discuss what we’ve seen, and what actions we recommend. https://lnkd.in/gQj6Jg7U
