Last week’s HUSTLE meeting was a blast! 🎉 Those who met their goals competed in a friendly Family Feud— Express Logistics Edition, with our very own Steve Harvey, Dylan Neuweg , leading the fun! 🌟 Last night, ELI had the amazing opportunity to team up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - IA, Des Moines to build and deliver beds for kids in our community. Some of us constructed beds in the shop while others delivered 13 beds to incredible kiddos who’ve never had one before! The joy on their faces was priceless. 🛏️ As of yesterday, SHP has delivered around 2,024 beds to children in the Des Moines metro over the past six years. A big thank you to SHP for allowing us to be part of this meaningful mission! They are currently in need of brand-new bedding essentials: sheets, pillows, and mattresses. Please consider donating or volunteering for this impactful organization. Together, we can ensure that no child sleeps on the floor in our town! 💙 #ELIgivesback #ELIimpact

Throughout each month, our ELI leadership team hands out lottery tickets to employees they see exemplifying our core values. At our company huddle each month, we draw out lottery numbers, and whoever has those numbers on their core value ticket wins! Brian was our winner from this month, receiving a prize for embodying our core values! We asked him how he received his core value lottery ticket, and this is what he said... "I received my lotto ticket for helping a co-worker jump-start their car #DOWHATSRIGHT. Recently, I've also been recognized by both my manager and upper management for coming in early #HUSTLE. I was so excited because I never win anything when it comes to things like this—it made my day! It's cool to work for a company that recognizes you for the great things you do on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.” Fantastic job embodying multiple core values, Brian! 👏

Hurricane Milton has rapidly intensified into a Category 5 and hurricane and storm surge watches are now posted along Florida's western Gulf Coast, where the storm poses threats of life-threatening storm surge, destructive winds and flooding rainfall by midweek.
