On this day 23 years ago, Extreme Steel Inc. was established with a goal to change the DMV skyline as well as help to restore Americas history. As we approach nearly (1,500) projects completed over the years with numerous awards for maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship on some of the most challenging & monumental projects that this area has had to offer; we reflect back on all the projects, people & events that ESI has had a privilege to be a part of. While these projects ranged anywhere from a historical renovations to the creation of new impressive structures; it is motivating to know that future generations will appreciate & utilize the work performed by “Team Extreme”. This past Saturday, some of our Team Members met at the Hall to continue the journey of Front Line Leadership Training. These sessions have been great for the the Team from a collaboration standpoint as well as a time to work together to become even more efficient and successful.

Unique projects require unique solutions. These Beams, while they may not look "unique" actually are because for every two or three you see, will become one Beam onsite. The project that these are for have no access for a Crane or any sort of Lifting Equipment so each piece has to be offloaded, placed on a cart, moved to an elevator, lifted into place with specialty equipment, assembled and then they'll be in there final location. Our Team worked diligently with our Client and the Design Team to come up with a solution that worked for project all while keeping everyone onsite safe. #extremesteel #teamextreme #steel #designteam #cranes

While renovation Structural Steel may not be as glamorous as a new multi-story building; it is still essential to bringing new use to an existing building and sometimes expanding that structure all while keeping the original look. This type of work requires a lot of behind-the-scenes effort from our experienced Team as well as thoughtful coordination with our trusted partners to execute. While Steel is in our name, we also fabricate and install other items fabricated from metals such as Aluminum, Stainless, Bronze, etc. Here are some examples of some recent Aluminum Rails our Miscellaneous Team fabricated before sending them off to be Anodized.
