Exxel is engaged with the Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT) Program, and one of our team members, Marilyn Gibbs, recently taught a resume building and interview readiness class. We have been partnering with the program for the last four years doing mock interviews, graduation meet and greets, and jobsite tours. CONSTRUCTION CARES FOR KIDS IS OUT IN THESE STREETS!! Big shout out to Mack Real Estate Group for adopting the students at Bailey Gatzert Elementary School in Seattle and making sure their 400 students all received personal safety lights and lighted slap bracelets for walking to and from school and just in time for Halloween. We were also out at Mosby Farms in Auburn, WA at the Pumpkin Patch handing out safety lights just in time for Halloween. Also, thank you to Exxel Pacific for supporting this initiative from the beginning!!

Project Update: We have completed demolition and broke ground on our Parkshore Juanita Bay project! Set in Kirkland’s historic Juanita Bay on Lake Washington, this project is a satellite independent living community for active seniors (62+) who want a plan for their future care. Tim is a Senior Project Manager who has been with Exxel Pacific since 2004. He has experience in both commercial and residential construction and is responsible for the administration and successful execution of a project. Tim is well known within the company for following our core value of doing the right thing, even when no one is looking, and won the annual values award this year. Habitat for Humanity hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday for our new 58-home affordable housing project located in Seattle. This project will feature five stories of condominiums, including five studios, 26 one-bedroom, and 27 two-bedroom units to offer affordable housing solutions to families across King County. Project Completion: We are excited to announce the completion of Capitol Hilltop (523 Hilltop)! This mixed-use project consists of five stories, with 68 residential units, and 5,000 sf of retail space. The project features a rooftop deck with views of Seattle and Bellevue. Previously the home of an auto repair shop and a vacant lot, the new mixed-use building transforms the site, providing housing, retail, and exterior amenity spaces to activate pedestrian activity.
