I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible support and encouragement I've received this week following the opening of the 2024 Arizona SHRM Annual Conference. Terms like "phenomenal," "applicable," "inspiring," "relevant," and "accurate" have been used to describe the experience. I am humbled, excited, and determined to continue spreading the message of dignity as loudly as possible. It was surreal to walk into the room today where I was trained by the incredible team at TTI Success Insights on using their assessments for behaviors and motivators. This morning, I had the opportunity to lead the training session. We delved into how dignity can enhance workplace culture and discussed ways to champion dignity in the workplace. According to the Observation Report (aka Feedback), the session was engaging, sparking thoughtful conversations. I want to share the SHRM-GP event I attended last week “Reviving Engagement: Dignity as the Catalyst for Change” hosted by Bob Fabey, the founder of Dignity Wins, was a great morning spent with some amazing HR leaders of Greater Phoenix. Bob delivered another inspiring session that truly resonated with me. This was my second time hearing Bob speak, and once again, he did not disappoint. As HR leaders, it’s crucial for us to always prioritize promoting dignity in the workplace. Bob’s insights reaffirmed the importance of fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion.
