Our hearts go out to everyone who was impacted across six states from Florida to North Carolina. Fahe is dedicating our resources to the hard-hit communities in Eastern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia in the Fahe footprint. Visit our Hurricane Helene Recovery webpage to learn how we are supporting long term recovery. We are not first responders, but we are getting ready to rehabilitate and rebuild homes and communities after the first responders leave. We hope you will consider contributing to the Hurricane Helene Recovery Fund. Thank you for your support. #WeAreFahe #HurricaneHelene https://lnkd.in/eJUHrF6E https://lnkd.in/evyEM9KT

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. Homes and lives have been lost. Communities are assessing the lasting emotional and physical damage from the storm. Fahe is focused on recovery. We are hearing what Fahe Members in Tennessee and Virginia need now. We are especially concerned about rural communities that are often overlooked. We are also working on longer term solutions and support. The Fahe network has decades of experience at rebuilding communities. We are identifying partners to join us in this collective effort. Please watch social media for updates as we go forward together. #HurricaneHelene #DisasterRecovery #WeareFahe

Fahe celebrates National Recovery Month! We're spotlighting Kentucky Access to Recovery (KATR) in an interview with Fahe VP of KATR, Joni Tamalonis. “The importance of National Recovery Month is visibility,” said Tamalonis. “Substance Use Disorder is a big problem, and our communal response as a society to take responsibility for everyone means people will feel safe getting treatment and receive the help they need.” https://lnkd.in/gu8c8URU #NationalRecoveryMonth #SubstanceUseRecovery #CelebrateRecovery #TogetherWeRecover #WeareFahe

https://lnkd.in/eTsWTZTJ We are marking an important day for CDFIs. On this day in 1994, President Clinton signed into law the Riegle Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act. The central purpose of the CDFI Act was to create a CDFI Fund to promote economic revitalization and community development. Fahe’s Former President Dave Lollis was a keynote speaker at this historic event. Watch Lollis speak about the importance of the CDFI Act.

Fahe’s CEO Jim King was recently quoted in the Sepember issue of The Chronicle of Philanthropy. In their cover story "Rural America is Struggling. Where’s Philanthropy?" Jim provides his perspective about national funders. Fahe is always ready to share what we know as we raise awareness of the underinvestment in rural areas. https://lnkd.in/ge38Y9YD
