🎧 Ever wonder who’s really in control of the music you listen to? Whether you’re cooking dinner, running in the park, or mindlessly scrolling social media on your commute, there’s a good chance the music in your ears was chosen for you by your streaming platform. But have you ever stopped to think about the financial and cultural implications? 💸🎶 Every song you hear, every playlist you love—it’s all driven by algorithms. But where does your subscription money really go? Is it fairly distributed? Which genres get pushed into the spotlight, and which ones are left to fade away? 🤔 🎶 Now, multiply that by millions of listeners, and the impact is staggering. 🎯 Independent artists losing visibility 🎯 Diverse, non-commercial music being drowned out 🎯 A shrinking, homogenized musical landscape 🌍💔 But fairer and more conscious music consumption is possible even in the age of algorithms and AI. And you can play a role in making it happen! How? 💪💪💪 🎯Check out my latest article 👉 https://bit.ly/3Y8LgmK to discover how research is pushing for more transparent and equitable streaming platforms. 🎯See in the first comment how you can request your data and use it to support this important movement. 🎯Join the conversation and share your experience, for our next article and upcoming podcast 🎤🎧 #MusicIndustry #StreamingPlatforms #IndependentArtists #AIandMusic #CulturalDiversity #FairMusic #TechForGood With the outstanding support of Giuseppe Mazziotti, Dr. Antoine Henry and VALENN (https://bit.ly/3TQcmMY)
