We have been working on Phase 2 of our Fairwinds Landing Project. We are thrilled to share that the Biden Administration announced that it will be providing over $39 million in funding for our offshore wind logistics facility, Fairwinds Landing.    The money will be used to construct berths for offshore wind heavy lift operations, submarine cable loading operations, and operations & maintenance activities.   The Miller Group CEO and Managing Partner of Fairwinds Landing Jerry Miller said “We are extremely pleased with the great result of our teamwork with the Norfolk EDA and other stakeholders in crafting a compelling story for PIDP funding. Renovating the aging waterfront infrastructure at Fairwinds Landing is a critical step in establishing Hampton Roads as an offshore wind hub and highlights the benefits of the Federal Government’s investment in critical infrastructure.
