When it comes to the teens in your life, this might look like: You try to give constructive feedback, but instead of listening, your teen shuts down or walks away. So how can you get through to them without causing a bigger rift? Here’s exactly what to say... "Hey, I really want to help you with this. Let's talk about what’s going on, and how we can make it better together." Approach the conversation with empathy, stay calm, and focus on the solution—not just the problem. When you shift from pointing out flaws to problem-solving, you foster a growth mindset and keep your teen motivated to improve. Facing challenges head on, no matter the feedback, is a key trait of successful entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are some of the greatest problem solvers, but it takes a lot of trials (and feedback 😉) before they succeed. When teens learn this skill early on, they're more likely to navigate challenges with resilience and creativity—skills they’ll carry into adulthood (and their entrepreneural endeavors!).

In the Christian community, when it comes to teens and their calling, there’s often two predominant pathways: mission work…and everything else. :) But, what if we could bring these two ideas closer together and show our teens the beauty in work as mission? God's word tells us that He gives us a new song to sing when we put our trust in Him. And that’s exactly what our mission is: To provide teens with incredible, world-view-bending content and tools to help them live out their God-given calling with confidence. For many, this idea may be a new song—but we believe entrepreneurship (even though it's a big word that's hard even to spell! 🙃) might be the exact new song they need.
