As we get closer to formalizing our primary care partnership with Greenwich Hospital and Yale New Haven Health (GH/YNHH), the Family Centers Health Care team recently hosted a meet-and-greet lunch to get to know their colleagues from GH/YNHH. It was a great opportunity for the teams to connect and share their goals before joining forces early next year when Family Centers assumes day-to-day management of the Adult and Pediatric Health Center on Holly Hill Lane!

Last night, we held the 133rd Family Centers Annual Meeting at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich. We proudly honored two extraordinary community members whose dedication and contributions have uplifted countless children and families across lower Fairfield County. ⭐Trish McGuire received the Anne Firestone Ball Family Champion Award for her incredible leadership in launching the Family First in Education program. As principal of Julian Curtiss Elementary, Trish advocated within Greenwich Public Schools to secure essential resources—data access, learning platforms, and classroom space—that paved the way for a robust afterschool and family engagement program ⭐Jean Witmer was honored with the Helen Gratz Rockefeller Outstanding Volunteerism Award for her visionary leadership as Board Vice Chair and her strategic contributions to fundraising, service delivery, and governance. A founding member of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Jean’s dedication to supporting our community’s most vulnerable has been invaluable in Family Centers' evolution. Thank you, Trish and Jeannie, for your inspiring work and lasting impact! 💙
