Through personalized services and four specialty Memory Care Homes in Torrance, CA and Solvang, CA, Family Connect Memory Care’s mission is to help individuals and the families of those facing memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s live life to its fullest potential, through resources and peace of mind. We work closely with the “Chronologically Gifted” and their loved ones to assess each specific situation, including current living conditions and interactions with the medical community, to devise a customized, healthy, safe, stimulating plan that will help them thrive. We offer customized Care Management based on individual needs, working with your loved one’s current doctors and care team to ensure everyone is on the same page. In addition, we help with long-term planning, so you know what the next steps should be. Our In-Home Care services include overseeing and directing care for those preferring to live at home, coordinating key support systems and services, leading activities (our STIMULI program), and accompanying individuals to appointments. Family Connect Memory Care’s caregivers are employees, not contractors. We also offer four boutique Memory Care Homes in Torrance, CA and in Solvang,CA which offer professional care management in a safe, cheerful, and stimulating family setting. Families can rest easily, knowing their loved one is cared for with a focus on quality of life that involves nutritious custom meals, music, outings, entertainment, and pet love. Family Connect Care’s Founder, elder care and dementia specialist Lauren Mahakian, helps the community with free local support groups and regular speaking engagements on various dementia topics.
