We were so honored to have Coach Tony Dungy speak to our distribution center associates and delivery teams today! After a career building teams to compete at the highest level, his reflections on leadership and determination were an encouragement to us all. We applaud his efforts and accomplishments on the field, but also the example he’s provided as a father all along the way (especially with the All Pro Dad organization!) We have the best vendor partners! A big shout out to Danby Appliances for sending a pallet of air blowers to help our region dry out from the flood damage. When the first hurricane passed by Tampa Bay and caused so much flooding, our partners at Danby asked what they could do to help. In addition to helping some of our associates dry out their own homes and one of our showrooms, these blowers will hopefully assist other households through the efforts of Metropolitan Ministries

Our South Tampa team was happy to be back in business yesterday, despite working through a showroom disrupted by water damage from the storm. A big thank you goes out to TECO Energy for getting this area powered up and enabling us to clean up the mess faster. We are ready to serve our customers (but please excuse the mess while we dry out sections of the store)

Once again, we are proud of our team as we cleaned up from the damages brought by hurricane Milton and reopened most of our stores. We understand that many of our associates are dealing with continued power outages at home and some unable to return while they deal with the damage at their homes…and now even the challenges and stress of getting gas for their vehicles. This will all get better…and it’s amazing to see how our community comes together through it. Thank you Taters!

While our hearts go out to all of our friends and neighbors who are recovering from the flooding brought by Hurricane Helene, we are so proud of our associates working through their own challenges to help our customers! If there’s any good news, it’s that replacement appliances are readily available and there are great options for washers, dryers, refrigerators and more as people get their homes dried out and move back in. We also know our friends up north are dealing with much worse devastation and we have a lot to be thankful for in the Tampa Bay Area.

For the safety of our staff, our stores are closing today at 4 PM. Most of our locations will be closed tomorrow, depending on conditions.
