At Far Niente Wine Estates, every detail matters—from the way we craft our wines to how they are presented. We are beyond proud that our 2021 Benson Vale Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon has been named the Packaging Sweepstakes Winner by the San Francisco Chronicle! This recognition celebrates not only the exceptional wine inside the bottle but also the artistry and intention behind its design. Inspired by the ornate beauty of Belle Époque book covers, this label subtly weaves together the elements of our history. A huge thank you to Denomination for their masterful design and to Darling Clementine for the stunning illustration that brings this label to life. Their work beautifully weaves together the legacy of John Benson, Martin Stelling, Beth, and Gil Nickel, whose initials are intricately intertwined into the illustration—an homage to the visionaries who shaped our estate. Thank you to the San Francisco Chronicle for this honor and to our incredible team for their dedication to excellence in every facet of winemaking.

Our recent town hall meetings were more than just gatherings—they were a vision, years in the making. Our leadership team endeavored to create an intimate personalized forum where we come together, celebrate our people, and reinforce the values that define us. This year, that vision became a reality. Through shared successes, team connections, and the announcement of our Core Value Champions, these town halls brought our FNWE culture to life in the best way possible.

Yesterday, we celebrated a major milestone as our inaugural class of Emerging Leaders completed their yearlong curriculum. Each graduate was carefully selected for their exceptional potential, proven leadership qualities, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Their talent and determination have truly shone throughout the program, and we are excited to see how their passion and expertise will contribute to the future of Far Niente Wine Estates.

From starting as an enologist in 2005 to becoming just the fourth winemaker in our more than 40-year history, she has continuously raised the bar, shaping not only our wines but also the culture of excellence and collaboration that defines our winery.   Nicole, thank you for two decades of leadership, craftsmanship, and dedication.

Events Manager The Events Manager combines client relationship management, logistical expertise, and strategic coordination to achieve financial goals, strengthen brand reputation, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Assistant Controller Responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reports, and to analyze and summarize FNWE’s financial results, provides management with effective measurement tools. Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting activities across all functions to ensure timely and accurate results. An enabler of change, this role drives communications and actionable insights across the business ensuring measurability of outcomes to determine overall success.
