The Boston Chronicle news piece is here! Check out Laura Diemer, CLM and Christine Bunyon working with Bob Craycraft and Amanda Murby McQuaid from University of New Hampshire to protect the health of Lake Kanasatka in NH. "I am seeing, just in the last 5 years, a major shift in the health of our lakes. We are moving into this new era where we have so many pressures from our human activity on the landscape that are impacting these lakes, and then that's being further compounded by the effects of climate change" - Laura Diemer https://lnkd.in/eYx82HN4 #lakes #cyanobacteria #waterquality #bostonchronicle

Happy National Boss’s Day to the one and only Forrest Bell! It’s not every day that people can say they have the coolest boss—but we really do. Forrest cares deeply about everyone at FBE and genuinely invests his time and energy in each of us. For the past 23 years, he has cultivated a workplace and community that we are all proud to be part of. One of Forrest's favorite quotes is "My goal in life is to unite my avocation with my vocation, as my two eyes make one in sight" -Robert Frost He has certainly accomplished this and inspires us all to do the same. Cheers to Forrest, his incredible accomplishments, the lives he’s touched, and the continued growth he inspires in others! #NationalBossDay

Was able to stop by a great little urban #greeninfrastructure retrofit in Topsham Maine over the weekend. This high performance biofilter was strategically placed to take #urbanrunoff from a busy intersection removing phosphorus, nitrogen and other harmful pollutants. Shout out to the Town of Topsham staff, FB Environmental Associates, Maine Department of Environmental Protection and the Ferguson team for steadily working through a multi year process to bring this from design conception to reality. #wheredoesyourraingo #cleanwaterforall Thank you to our technology partners Convergent Water Technologies and Anoka Conservation District

Margaret Mills and Lauren Caffe, MCRP, alongside Joel Ballestero from Streamworks, visited Gouldsboro, ME, to discuss the Corea Road Tidal Crossing & Crowley Island Road Causeway Improvement Project with local residents and leaders. These crucial roadways are the only access for residents and fishermen and are at risk of inundation during storms. The workshop welcomed 50 residents to the local Black Duck Inn who shared their insights and ideas for future designs. Thank you to all who joined us and provided valuable input! #communityengagement #gouldsboro #tidalcrossings
