📣 The U.S. Department of Labor (#DOL) has released its annual memorandum on the 2024 Service Contract Act (#SCA) Health and Welfare Fringe Benefits rate, effective July 2, 2024. Here are the updates for SCA-covered contracts: ✅ New rate: $5.36 per hour for government contract bids and service contracts awarded on or after July 2, 2024 (previously $4.98). ✅ For employees on contracts covered by EO 13706, the rate increases to $4.93 per hour (previously $4.57). ✅ For Hawaii Prepaid Healthcare Act (HPHCA) employees, the rate increases to $2.36 per hour. ✅ For HPHCA employees on contracts covered by EO 13706, the rate increases to $1.93 per hour.
