This past weekend, FTC Transportation, Inc. joined the Pioneer Library System's Touch-A-Truck event, giving kids the chance to see one of our vehicles up close. Definitely met a few future drivers, based on interest in getting to honk the horn!

Their sponsored Resource Rally in Fort Lauderdale, FL, along with Joshua's Heart Foundation, and provided hundreds of families with boxes of food, hygiene essentials, and other personal-care items to help reduce hunger and budget stress caused by price hikes. And since this school year started, the company has also provided 1,000+ backpacks filled with supplies for children in need across the US!

Good afternoon from Denver, CO! Feed the Children is here today with The a2 Milk Company providing nonperishable food and essentials to 400 local families. And, even better, a2 Milk is providing infant formula and shelf-stable milk to families in need of those items! In Denver, nearly 9% of residents live below the poverty line and run an increased risk of experiencing food insecurity as a result. Hikes in the cost of food, transportation, housing and energy have all compounded the issue, meaning this help comes at a crucial time. We’re thankful to partner with companies like a2 Milk, as well as organizations like Bobo's and Wild Planet Foods who have joined in supporting today’s event!

Feed the Children is proud to announce the grand opening of our OKC Partner Market this past week! This pilot program will allow our local partner organizations to self-select the resources they need for their own communities from our distribution center. “Our local community partners don’t have the ability to store pallets of food, but they need a variety that’s right for their community. So we’ve opened our Partner Market, giving them the ability to select foods and essential items that SNAP benefits don’t cover: things like detergent and shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes," said Julie Laird Davis, Sr. Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Individual Giving. Thank you to our partners Oklahoma City Indian Clinic, Sisu Youth Services, the OK City Center, Light and Salvation Church, and Pivot for attending the launch!

Children across three states were able to start the school year with tummies full of food, backpacks filled with school supplies and minds ready to learn, thanks to our partners at Smithfield Foods! In August, Feed the Children conducted a three-part Resource Rally series alongside Smithfield, providing meat including bacon, ham and ribs, plus nonperishable food and household essentials for 1,200 families.
