Meet Chelsea Salafia, Director of Sales based in our Smithfield, Rhode Island office. Leading our Sales team across the U.S. and Canada, Chelsea’s journey with FGX International spans over 10 years, and started as an Account Manager supporting our merchandising programs within Target, Kroger, BJs, Meijer, and CVS. Collaboration has always been the cornerstone of her success and continued development as she took on greater responsibilities. Today, she leads a team partnering with marketing and product development. Chelsea’s work ethic and leadership help bring others along and work towards a shared goal: to bring good vision to the world. “There is so much work and collaboration with each of our internal support teams, and our external retail partners that goes on to making a concept come to life at store level. In celebration of Mental Health Awareness month in May, FGX wanted to recognize the significance of mental health and overall wellness in all aspects of employees’ lives, personal and professional. This month reminded us that mental health is not a luxury but a fundamental aspect of wellness. So, we invited employees to join us for refreshing and nutritious fruit smoothies for a pick-me-up during their day (200 employees served!), and hosted a rejuvenating yoga session, where employees to a break from the daily grind and learned tips for reducing stress in the workplace. #WeAreFGX
