Each year, Fiesta Bowl Charities donates the Rate Bowl playing field to a community in need. Earlier this week, we surprised the students at Western School of Science and Technology in Maryvale with the news that our 10th football field donation is heading their way. This legacy project would not be possible without our great partner, BHHS Legacy Foundation. 𝐕𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 - we’re looking forward to celebrating the unveiling in the spring!

As a nonprofit focused on fostering a culture of community involvement and giving, the Fiesta Bowl organization hosts a variety of local events, as well as two elite college football bowl games every year - the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. The Fiesta Bowl’s vision is to be a world-class community organization that executes innovative experiences, drives economic growth and champions charitable causes, inspiring pride in all Arizonans. As a nonprofit organization, it believes in the importance of community outreach and service. In an effort to help enhance Arizona communities through youth, sports and education, Fiesta Bowl Charities commits more than $3 million in annual charitable giving, the most of any college football bowl organization. Over the last seven years, Fiesta Bowl Charities has donated more than $23 million in charitable giving to nonprofit organizations across the state. Since 1971, the Fiesta Bowl organization has worked to increase its footprint across the state and to benefit Arizonans year round, during and outside of bowl season. It was a special night in the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, where Sun Devil Football WR Xavier Guillory joined us for a Legacy Youth Football Clinic. More than 100 kids participated in the free, non-contact clinic, led by Guillory, a member of the Nez Perce Tribal Nation. The event was part of the Fiesta Bowl’s greater grassroots effort to more deeply connect with Arizona youth and scholastic football.
