A Great Day of Golf! Last week, FCCF sponsored its 15th Annual Jersey Shore Golf Challenge at LBI National Golf Club, Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Some 124 of you joined us on the course, while others joined as as volunteers or dinner guests and many of you supported this event through your purchase of sponsorships, as well as your donations of money and prize items. The weather was beautiful and the people were great, it was a wonderful day. A day, though, focused on the children and families we support, those that are fighting cancer and who find themselves in financial need. We can't do this without you and your generous support. We are grateful!

Recently this note was received from one of the families we helped. Their child has been undergoing treatment for cancer and will now need to regularly travel to Boston for a clinical trial. The assistance you helped provide has given this family the funds they need to get to Boston for this important opportunity for their son. They are hopeful for a positive outcome with this treatment. As we continue celebrating Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we call to mind the many families who have a child with cancer and the many challenges they face while their child is in treatment. Your ongoing awareness, support and donations are making a difference in the lives of these families, providing them not only relief, but also hope and encouragement at a time they need it most!
