The Filipino American Democratic Club of New York has released the following statement in full support and endorsement of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as Vice President Kamala Harris's running mate in the upcoming presidential election: Today's electrifying campaign rally in Philadelphia, and this morning's announcement of Governor Tim Walz as Vice President Harris’s running mate, showcased Kamala Harris’s commitment to choosing a running mate who is committed to inclusive and progressive governance that truly reflects the values that many Americans hold. Several members of the Filipino American Democratic Club of New York, including our President Enzo Manzano and Vice President Michelle Amor, were present at today's historic rally in support of the newly energized Harris-Walz campaign. Governor Walz’s proven track record on issues such as labor, education, healthcare, and LGBTQ+ rights solidifies our confidence in his ability to help lead our nation forward alongside our soon-to-be President Kamala Harris. Our club is wholeheartedly committed to mobilizing our members, time, and resources across New York and swing states, in support of the Harris-Walz ticket.
