Appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom on July 26, 2023, Karla spearheads the CFC's film permitting, location resources, and on-location production support, and runs the California Regional Film Office Partnership. This interactive, online course will equip students throughout California with the skills and connections to advance their careers in television and film production accounting. The 8-week, distance learning opportunity starts on October 5, 2024. The course, supported by projects in the California Film & TV Tax Credit Program, is free to all those accepted.
