✅ Understanding your Social Security benefits is crucial to securing a comfortable retirement. 👍 Here are 10 quick tips to help you make informed decisions. 👉 Insolvency Explained: Social Security isn’t going broke, but benefits could be reduced by 2035 unless changes are made. 👉 Maximize Earnings: Your benefits are based on your highest 35 years of earnings. Filling gaps with part-time work can boost your future payments. 👉 Know Your FRA: Your Full Retirement Age (FRA) determines when you can receive full benefits. Filing earlier reduces your monthly benefit. 👉 Timing is Key: Delaying your claim increases your benefits, while claiming early reduces them. 👉 Working While Claiming: If you claim before FRA and keep working, your benefits may be temporarily reduced. 👉 Tax Considerations: A portion of your Social Security benefits may be taxed depending on your total income. 👉 Spousal Benefits: You may be eligible for benefits based on your spouse’s record. Timing matters for maximizing these. 👉 Divorce Benefits: You could still claim benefits based on your ex-spouse’s record if specific conditions are met. 👉 Non-Covered Pensions: Report any pensions from employers not covered by Social Security to avoid benefit reductions. 👉 Survivor Benefits: Delaying your spouse’s claim can maximize survivor benefits. ✅ Learn how to maximize your Social Security benefits by scheduling a call here: https://lnkd.in/gwiZ-zyv

Do you know about this recent update from the Social Security Administration regarding your account access? This was just announced this week. 👉 What's changing? Soon, you'll no longer be able to sign in using your Social Security username and password. Instead, to access services like my Social Security, you'll need to create a Login.gov or ID.me account. 👉 Why the change? This change is designed to streamline your sign-in process and comply with federal authentication standards, ensuring secure access to our online services. ✅ If you already use Login.gov or ID.me - No action is required. 🖥 How to transition your account: 1. Go to the "Sign in" section at the top of our website. 2. Select "Sign in with Social Security Username." 3. After signing in, you'll be prompted to create a Login.gov account. Login.gov offers 24/7 customer support via phone and chat to assist you in setting up your account. 👉 What happens next? Once your Social Security username is linked to your new Login.gov account, you'll receive a confirmation and be directed to the service you intended to access. You can then use your new Login.gov account for all Social Security online services. Please note, your old Social Security username will no longer be available. 👉 For more details, you can refer to this helpful article that points out everything you need to know about this change: https://lnkd.in/e5jwTKBU ☎ If you have any questions about Social Security, please feel free to reach out to me: https://lnkd.in/etJCizpi #SocialSecurity #SSUpdate #LoginChange #AccountSecurity #FederalStandards #LoginGov #IDme #SecureAccess #OnlineServices #SSATransition #UserUpdate #IdentityVerification #DigitalSecurity #ImportantNotice #StayInformed #SocialSecurityNews #UserGuidance #AccountUpdate #TechChanges #SecurityUpdate
