It's been a year since transitioning from a recruiting practitioner to a recruiting software vendor at Findem. The learning curve has been steep, yet rewarding. Interacting with clients of all sizes, across various industries, feels like a year-long Recruiting University. While the list of learnings is long, three assumptions held before joining are proving to be true for any TA team: - A proactive, multichannel sourcing strategy is key to building healthy, diverse talent pipelines. - Technology adoption thrives when two key elements come together; the client is clear on the tech purchase being tied to delivering on a business strategy and the vendor deeply understands how to help users deliver on that strategy with the technology. Without this intersection, the tech investment will become just "another tool" with poor results. - Data influences behavior profoundly, guiding user activities for optimal results.
