About us

Global Recruiters of Denver is a boutique recruiting agency that connects growth-mode P&C insurance firms with top talent. Founded with a desire to bring a more human approach to insurance recruiting, we are relationship builders first and foremost. We believe in intentional connection, using a consultative approach to find your organization the best person for the job so you can grow your company, develop leadership capacity, and scale functional staff. We know how challenging it can be to build out world-class culture when you’re struggling to keep pace with an ever-changing market. Receiving a long list of too many applicants that aren’t aligned takes you further away from your goals. And not having the bandwidth or role-specific knowledge to quickly and thoroughly screen resumes can leave your organization losing out on great people. With decades of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, our team understands your industry’s internal and external challenges. Working in both carrier + agent channels gave us hands-on experience, including claims, underwriting, product, business development, compliance, and licensing. We even have a former actuary on our team! Whether it’s our knowledge of business intelligence tools or strategic view of distribution channels, our niche focus and insurance expertise allow us to listen for nuance and narrow in on the discipline-specific skills and traits you need in a candidate. Not only do we know the industry, we know the players. Our expansive relationships in multiple verticals, paired with our robust contact database, allow us direct access to the most sought-after insurance professionals — including passive talent. And they trust us because we’ve walked in their shoes. Our collaborative style means we become a trusted partner and an extension of your team. We know insurance, and we understand the current landscape - we make finding your next, best employee easy.

  • This past weekend, Jessica Peskin, our Chief Finder of Keepers attended The Failure Ball, a unique charity gala celebrating the courage to try, fail, and learn. Held at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, the event brought together entrepreneurs and leaders to share experiences of overcoming setbacks, with proceeds supporting suicide prevention through To Write Love on Her Arms. The Failure Ball's philosophy of embracing missteps as valuable lessons aligns perfectly with our company's values. At Global Recruiters of Denver, we believe that taking risks and learning from all outcomes is crucial for innovation in the insurance industry. The atmosphere crackled with energy, more akin to a sequin-studded TED Talk than a stuffy gala. In this vibrant environment, Jessica found herself engaged in candid conversations, swapping hilarious and sometimes jaw-dropping professional mishap stories with fellow attendees and insurance professionals. These exchanges went beyond simple networking, creating genuine bonds over shared experiences of risk-taking and resilience. As the stories unfolded, a powerful truth emerged: in the insurance world, and indeed in all industries, success isn't about playing it safe—it's about daring to try, learn, and grow from both triumphs and setbacks. This approach exemplifies the authentic, relationship-based strategy we champion at Global Recruiters of Denver. We believe acknowledging effort and learning from missteps is crucial for fostering innovation in the fast-paced insurance industry. Key takeaways that align with our recruiting approach: ⭐ Valuing authenticity and resilience ⭐ Encouraging innovation and risk-taking ⭐ Prioritizing mental health and individual well-being As a company, we're committed to fostering a culture where setbacks are seen as opportunities for growth. We're dedicated to helping you build a team that can handle it all - triumphs and learning experiences alike. Interested in building a culture of innovation and resilience in your organization? Let's connect!

  • Did you know? Cyber insurance has gone from niche offering to center stage faster than a hacker can crack a weak password. Why it matters: 1. Cyber attacks are becoming more frequent and sophisticated 👉 In 2022, the average cost of a data breach hit $4.35 million! 2. Traditional P&C knowledge isn't enough - we need tech-savvy pros 👉 Understanding both insurance and cybersecurity is crucial 3. The ideal candidate blends insurance expertise with: 👉 Incident response strategies 👉 Data security regulations 👉 Risk modeling for evolving cyber threats Cyber insurance presents unique challenges that set it apart in the P&C world. The threat landscape changes at breakneck speed, making it tough to quantify potential losses. With limited historical data, actuarial analysis becomes a high-wire act. Add in the complexity of policy wordings and exclusions, and you've got a recipe for excitement (or headaches, depending on your perspective)! In this digital wild west, your team is your sheriff's posse. It's time to saddle up and recruit the gunslingers who can:  ⭐ Model cyber risks with precision ⭐ Navigate the legal labyrinth of data security  ⭐ Design policies that protect against tomorrow's threats The future of P&C is digital, and cyber insurance is leading the charge. Are you ready to reboot your approach for the digital age? Curious about navigating this new terrain? Let's connect and discuss how to future-proof your insurance strategy.

  • The summer, Earth tied for its hottest day on record - two days in a row- and the implications for our industry are sizzling - especially as summer temps have continued into fall for most of us. With climate (and crazy storm) extremes becoming the new norm, the traditional insurance model is being tested like never before. That's where parametric insurance comes in. Parametric insurance is a fast-growing solution that’s shaking up the game. Unlike traditional policies that wait for damage assessments, parametric insurance triggers payouts based on predefined events, no claims adjusters needed. Consider this: In 2023 alone, the U.S. was hit with 28-billion-dollar weather disasters, totaling a jaw-dropping $92.9 billion in damages. As these events multiply, the global parametric market is set to soar from $11.7 billion in 2021 to a projected $29.3 billion by 2031. If you’re in the insurance industry and not already exploring parametric products, you’re missing out on a major opportunity. It’s time to dive in before you find yourself underwater. Is your company offering parametric insurance? What upskilling is your team doing to prepare? Let us know below.

  • The 10th annual Women in the Workplace report by @mckinsey is out, and it offers a lot to reflect on—especially for those of us in the P&C insurance industry, which has historically been male-dominated. Some key findings: 👉 Women now hold 29% of C-suite positions, up from 17% in 2015. 👉 At the current pace, it would take 48 years to achieve parity for all women in senior leadership. 👉 The "broken rung" persists: women are still less likely than men to be promoted to their first managerial role. 👉 Women of color face even steeper challenges, holding only 7% of C-suite positions. In P&C insurance, these challenges can feel even more pronounced. The technical nature of our industry, combined with a legacy of male leadership, often creates additional hurdles for women seeking to advance. Another key concern is that company commitment to diversity appears to be waning. Fewer organizations are prioritizing gender and racial diversity, and there’s been a noticeable reduction in career development, mentorship, and sponsorship programs—programs that are particularly vital in our industry, where navigating complex products and regulations requires guidance and support. The report also points out that day-to-day experiences for many women haven't significantly improved. Micro-aggressions remain a persistent issue, and many women continue to lack the managerial support needed for career advancement. While it's clear that progress has been made, it's equally clear that there is still more work ahead. In the P&C insurance space, we can take this as an opportunity to recommit to diversity initiatives, focus on fixing the broken rung, and create workplace cultures that truly value diverse perspectives in areas like risk assessment and customer service. As professionals in this field, we all have a role to play. Let’s use this report not just as an eye-opener but as a catalyst for thoughtful action within our organizations and the industry as a whole. Report link in comments.

  • Here at Global Recruiters of Denver, we believe that a robust mental health policy is just as crucial as a comprehensive insurance policy. That's why we're closing our office today, October 10th in observance of World Mental Health Day. Initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health in 1992, this day serves as a global platform for mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma. In our high-stakes industry, where we're constantly assessing and mitigating risks, it's vital that we don't overlook the importance of mental well-being. Just as we advise our clients to regularly review and update their policies, we encourage our team and all P&C professionals to take this day to conduct a personal "mental health audit": 👉 Assess your stress levels 👉 Identify any coverage gaps in your work-life balance 👉 Implement strategies to mitigate burnout risks 👉 Seek support if you're facing any mental health claims Taking care of your mental health isn't a liability – it's your most valuable asset. We'll return to our usual operations on October 11th, refreshed and ready to continue finding keepers in the P&C world.
