At Firestorm, we’re excited to see the U.S. Army making continued strides in additive manufacturing to improve battlefield readiness – an effort that aligns directly with our work in edge manufacturing. Like the Army’s initiatives to 3D print spare parts at the tactical edge, Firestorm has been leveraging our xCell expeditionary manufacturing system to produce UAS components close to the point of need. This approach both reduces supply chain bottlenecks and increases operational agility, just as the Army has envisioned for its forces. Folks like Edward Flinn are doing incredible things for the furtherance of AM at the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence. RIA-JMTC has a wealth of incredible technologies / capabilities highlighted below. Also, great to see the tie-in to TACOM, and it reminded me of Darren Werner leaning forward and always being helpful when it came to the Army's AM posture. Additive manufacturing has become a vital part of defense technology, and Firestorm is proud to be at the forefront, providing rapidly produced, modular solutions that can adapt to dynamic tactical environments. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and driving the future of defense innovation! https://lnkd.in/g7JA2T8u

Firestorm was proud to be one of 26 U.S. defense tech companies invited to represent Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS (C-UAS) innovations on a trade mission to Taiwan. Co-founder Chad M. and other U.S. industry leaders engaged in high-level discussions with Taiwanese officials, exploring strategic partnerships to enhance supply chain resilience and strengthen asymmetric combat capabilities. Firestorm was one of the select companies asked to help solve complex defense challenges. It has the unique advantage of being able to co-produce drones directly in Taiwan, something few others are doing. The delegation, organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), also briefed the Vice President of Taiwan. Special thanks to AIT for fostering this critical collaboration between the U.S. and Taiwan defense industries!

Firestorm has made remarkable strides in pushing the boundaries of defense technology, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s on the horizon. We recently successfully participated in the T-REX 24-2 event, where our Tempest drones executed autonomous missions with minimal human intervention, from takeoff to landing. For the first time, we flew two Tempest drones in a coordinated mission—one conducting ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) and the other performing a loitering munition mission. The T-REX event was instrumental in validating technical maturation, and our drones demonstrated their capability as modular, rapidly deployable systems that seamlessly integrate with joint assets. We also demonstrated our flexibility at Silent Swarm by integrating the external customer's payload into our aircraft systems rapidly and executing multi-agent missions, all while showcasing the adaptability of our systems at high altitudes. We're excited to return to JIFX this November at Camp Roberts, where we’ll be showcasing our cutting-edge aerial vehicles once again. Thank you to the entire Firestorm team for the tireless effort recently!
