And when you see it, you’re more likely to buy it! #AR bridges the gap between #virtual and #reality, ensuring that when you hit ‘buy now,’ you’re not just making a purchase – you’re making a decision you feel good about. Brands like Warby Parker and IKEA are leading the charge, using AR to let customers “try before they buy,” transforming shopping into an engaging, #interactive experience. These innovations are revolutionizing customer #engagement, forging emotional connections long before the checkout process. However, AR isn’t without its hurdles. Rick Zhuang, CTO at Firework, offers valuable insights from early AR projects, highlighting that even the most hyped initiatives can fall into the classic “boom and bust” cycle. “AR’s true value lies in specific, well-defined use cases," Rick explains. "It’s highly effective when helping shoppers visualize products in real life—like seeing a sofa in your living room. It’s also a powerful tool for enhancing offline shopping by overlaying useful product information directly onto live previews as you point your phone’s camera at an item.     Heinz Does it Again!  They are a market leader because they #innovate… and Kraft Heinz likes to shake things up.  Their latest ad by branding agency TAXI depicts the shaking of a Heinz Ketchup bottle and it’s catching attention and winning awards.  Just like when Heinz partnered with Firework to promote their first-ever pop-up for Halloween where the theme was having fun with costume creations using “tomato blood” ketchup a couple of years ago. The campaign included a livestream event anchored on Heinz’s website and strategic distribution of this #livestream event through media placements on publisher sites driving traffic to the experience.
