“One thing is very clear – technology is moving faster than ever. The most important thing that we can give kids is the tools to be prepared for whatever is coming. And more than being prepared for it, we’re going to give them the tools to help create the future – the futures they want.” – FIRST Founder Dean Kamen On March 20, 1989, inventor and entrepreneur Dean Kamen founded FIRST with a dream – to inspire kids around the world to pursue STEM fields and prepare them for the future. With his scientific expertise and problem-solving mindset combined with the passion to ignite change, Dean’s dream has driven global impact and positive STEM outcomes for millions of young people. His vision for FIRST has grown into a movement that is proven to be so much #morethanrobots. Through FIRST, students of all ages can explore the breadth of career opportunities STEM education provides and begin paving the way to follow their own dreams. Our "birthday” wish is to receive your generous support to ensure all students have the opportunity to participate in FIRST and #GetAnywhere: https://hubs.ly/Q03c73N70
