He joins us from his role as an active duty Space Force Cyber Operations Officer, currently stationed at Space Systems Command, where he led SSC’s Zero Trust implementation and strategy as part of the Chief Information Office. An experienced Cyber Operations officer with a robust background in space systems, Capt Moss brings a wealth of expertise to our dual-use deal triage and investments. He is highly motivated to link industry innovations with Space Force operators. As a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Business Management, Capt Moss’s extensive cyber operations and space systems experience, significantly enhances our team’s capabilities. We are proud to be part of the effort to build connections between the Department of Defense and industry innovation, and we are fortunate to have him on board. 📢 Exciting News! 📢 We are delighted to announce that Xavier Vecchio has been working with us at First In as a SkillBridge Fellow for the past three months! 🎉 Xavier transitioned from active duty in the Army, where he served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer. His dedication and expertise have been a tremendous asset to our team. This Fall, Xavier will be matriculating at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business to pursue his full-time MBA. He aims for roles in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Private Equity, bringing his unique perspective and experience to the finance industry. Originally from Marco Island, FL, Xavier earned his BS in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
