Had an awesome time teaching Hybrid Decon this week in Boise, Idaho! These guys were eager to learn a different, and more effective way to conduct decon operstions. Implementing and transitioning to the Enhanced Decon System, and investing the time and money into equipment that WORKS usually brings around the “I don’t like change” conversation. Boise didn’t think twice about it and dove right in. Looking forward to more successful trainings! I’m headed to the Continuing Challenge Conference in Sacramento next week! Who’s coming? I’d love to have everyone in our “Hands-on with Hybrid Decon”….Lets fill those seats again! One of the few chances to use free products…. 🤣🤣

We get asked this question often, so I wanted to share some insight that you may want to share as well. Is Dry Decontamination really dry??? (Who doesn't love three question marks?) It doesn't depend - despite what some might say. Dry decontamination should mean exactly what it sounds like – no liquids. Many out there try to start the conversation by confusing the definition. You'll hear about "versions" of dry decon like dry powders or dry gaseous decontamination being passed off as Dry Decon. They’ll also tell you that Dry Decontamination means no additional water is added to the decontaminant - but doesn't that bring us back to wet decontamination? Dry decontamination does NOT include "ready to use chemical solutions and pretreated or wetted substrates like wipes, sponges, mitts, etc." That’s still wet decon. Back in 2017, we had to explain the difference between DF200 - Hydrogen Peroxide (old) and Dahlgren Decon's PeroxySolid (new). You can’t rebrand old science and technology as the "newest" technology. Powder on a mitt - remember M291, M295 powder? Innovation requires Science, not just relabeling or rebranding. It's true that there’s no silver bullet. Effective, tried, tested, and proven technology and training belongs in your toolbox for today's and tomorrow’s emerging threats: Chemical warfare, biowarfare, precursors, fentanyls, irritants, and other threats put responders at risk daily. Gaseous decon and powder-based decon won't make these go away quickly, and many have already seen their ineffectiveness and dangers during military demonstrations. Hybrid Decon with FiberTect (Dry Decon) and Dahlgren Decon (Reactive Decon) is the path agencies in the US, Sweden, Poland, Germany, UK, Norway, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Israel, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh... the list goes on. Join our growing list of users who have changed and enhanced the decontamination game by visiting www.firstlinetech.com or emailing my team at sales@firstlinetech.com. First Line brings Disruptive Innovation with the Science of Decon. #CBRN #decontamination #defense #technology #hazardousresponse #publicsafety #drydecon #innovation #scienceofdecon
