Updates

  • Amazon has once again abruptly altered their requirements for selling Dietary supplements on their platform. As of April 2, 2024 they have updated their requirements to needing to have your products either NSF/ANSI 173 certified or tested specifically by Eurofins laboratory. We anticipate there to be further discussions and push back from the industry due to the lack of options, and the inability to properly control this requirement due to the volume of products on Amazon's platform. Amazon will be holding a webinar for additional questions and hopefully additional information by them on what the roll out of these requirements will look like on April 17, 2024 1:00 a.m. Pacific Time. First Priority Manufacturing already holds the NSF certificate for our manufacturing facility, NSF has already updated their requirements for obtaining the NSF/ANSI 173 certified supplements, and has made this easier to obtain for label owners wanting to sell on Amazon, since our facility is already NSF certified, NSF will offer an easier batching system for your product certifications that are manufactured in our facility. Our team stays up to date with changes in the industry and will help work our customers through any processes as things move forward. #nsfcertified #amazonsupplementupdate #dietarysupplements #amazon2024 #nsf #eurofins https://lnkd.in/duAN28MM https://lnkd.in/gbUEtCQJ

  • Our Mission statement is "Never trade your morals for your goals" This effects everything we do here at First Priority Manufacturing, with so much misinformation and bad business practices going around the dietary supplement community we continue to hold firm on our morals. We put quality, testing, full disclosure and honesty above all else with our products and customers, so that you know what you are getting from us, and on our labels is exactly what you pay for.

  • First Priority is located in an environmentally friendly industrial park to ensure our manufacturing processes are offset and not harmful to the environment. 1. Sustainable sourcing: Many companies are focusing on sourcing ingredients from sustainable and ethical suppliers. This includes using organic ingredients, supporting fair trade practices, and ensuring the traceability of ingredients to promote responsible sourcing. 2. Energy efficiency: Many businesses in the industry are adopting renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, or hydrogen power to reduce their carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. 3. Waste reduction: Implementing waste reduction strategies such as recycling, composting, and minimizing packaging can help reduce the amount of waste generated during the manufacturing process. 4. Green packaging: Using eco-friendly packaging materials, such as biodegradable or recyclable packaging, can help reduce the environmental impact of product packaging. 5. Water conservation: Implementing water-saving practices in manufacturing processes can help conserve water resources and reduce water usage.

  • Heavy Metals testing is so important on both raw materials and finished products!
