Members of our Engineering team spent part of last week at Moov's Fintech Devcon and had a great experience learning from others in the industry. Here's what First Dollar's Engineering Manager, Caryn Ligon, had to say. "We learned a lot! From using React server components to improve frontend performance to techniques for ensuring transactional integrity, query optimization across large datasets, building a more delightful onboarding and customer identify verification experiences, and so much more. We ended the week fired up from the final keynote speaker, Kelsey Hightower. Kelsey’s energy and excitement to learn is infectious. He shared a ton of experiences from his career and really dialed into the human element of what we do. I left feeling excited for the team we’re building here at First Dollar and thinking about how our engineers can build each other up by asking each other questions, stepping up to any challenge, and teaching each other. Thank you to Moov for hosting this conference! We're grateful that the First Dollar team has been able to attend all 4 years so far. It’s been such a special time for our team to learn and meet people from the industry."
