About us
The attorneys at Fisher Phillips are committed to providing value to our clients. We do one thing - represent employers in labor and employment matters. Our clients know their legal problems will be treated as business problems and that we strive to help them avoid legal problems. We believe the lawsuit that’s never filed is a better win for a client than a costly defense verdict. Although skilled and tenacious advocates, our attorneys recognize that the most aggressive and expensive approach may not always be the best solution to a client's problem. We seek to identify the client's primary business objective, design a solution to fit the objective, and implement that solution in the most efficient manner possible. By performing compliance audits, providing the right policies, procedures and training, and offering thoughtful advice and counsel, we assist clients in preventing employee claims and lawsuits, government investigations, and union organizing activity. We’re in the client service business and know that many labor and employment problems arise without much warning and require an immediate response. We meet deadlines and provide plenty of advance time where client review of documents is needed. And we communicate with our clients in plain English. Founded in Atlanta, we are an international law firm with more than 600 attorneys across 38 offices in the United States and 3 in Mexico. Our attorneys practice before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in virtually every state.

The Women’s Initiative and Leadership Council (WiLC) recognizes Women’s History Month in honor of women who began their legal careers at Fisher Phillips in the 1960s. The Honorable Dorothy Toth Beasley (1937-2024) went on to be appointed as the first woman judge on the State Court of Fulton County and the first woman judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. The Honorable Orinda D. Evans was the first woman appointed to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, and the first female chief judge of that same court. Their trailblazing careers continue to inspire us, and we honor the women at Fisher Phillips and the legal profession who, like Justice Beasley and Judge Evans, lead with strength, integrity, and a commitment to justice. In this tradition, we are proud to highlight the leadership of Christine Howard and Danielle Moore for their vision as founders of WiLC and their current roles as members of the Management Committee. #WiLC #WomensHistoryMonth
