Flagship Publishing is a privately-held media company that specializes in regional magazine brands and print and digital media products. Its paid-circulation magazine titles include Nebraska Life Magazine, Colorado Life Magazine, Utah Life Magazine and Maui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine. The company's roots date to 1997 with the founding of Nebraska Life, which grew to become that state's primary general-interest magazine. Following success of that title, in 2012 the owners and staff launched Colorado Life, the main statewide magazine of Colorado travel, photography, nature, food and culture. Its subscriber renewal rates and newsstand sell-through rates far surpass industry averages of national magazines.
